Medication reviews take place every 3/4 months with our local GP practice and pharmacy. It is important to monitor and discuss medication, to ensure each resident is receiving the best possible treatment.
An active Falls Prevention program operates within the home. A resident who is identified as at risk of falling can be helped in a number of ways, including risk assessment, hip protectors, chair and bed monitors and making sure enough liquids are consumed during the day.
The District Nurse team visit twice a week to support the home and GP practice. It is a very good service and helps with samples, dressings and medical advice.
